Has anyone built this set before it looks massive but there are no dimensions can anyone help me out

Can you show us a pic of the kit or an item #? I have no idea what a block of flats is.

Do you mean a building with multiple floors of residences? Didn't know Plus Model made buildings.

Ahhh...so they do! http://www.plusmodel.cz/view_en.php?id=196 Looks to be about 8" x 8", or slightly bigger.
