I wonder if a Dutch team will win ala 1988-89 by having fun and drinking a lot of beer....that was their secret to success that year in their Leo 2.....

No Duich teams this time. Dutch Government foolishly decided to disband their armor some years ago.

Well, apparently it finished and the USA did not do so well.
USA falls short
Congrats to our German, Dane and Polish friends (1,2,3 respectively!).

Scores would have been different if one of the two US tank platoons was a Marine platoon. Jest saying.

As an old Cold Warrior (though not a tanker), I'm still marveling at Poland - POLAND! - competing in this sort of thing. Those folks used to be the enemy - my, how times have changed.

Actually the Sullivan Cup was going on at the same time and some "Nasty Girls" from the North Carolina Guard Showed up the Active Duty Army, USMC and Canadian Army to become the top rated Tank Crew in that competition...

I guess these are the only sabots that the Dutch Army will be lobbing at the enemy in the near future:

Not surprising a Guard/Reserve unit won. In the Marines, Reserve units have won a number of TigerComps.
