Friends,

thanks to Nate's (Porkhop's) article I overcame my fear to paint the Dennison Smocks. I'm very happy with the current results. Sure there is room for improvement, but that will come in time after more practice and training on the job.

Here are the first pics. Please ignore the shine, since that will be corrected in a later stage. Also I have to do the drybushing. What you see on the pictures are the basecoats and a first overall wash. I would love to know what you think of this first attempt.

I'll have about five figures in the completed dio, but not all of them wear the camou smocks.

Danny,
Nice job particularly the edges of the respective colors. This is the one area that has been my downfall with painting the smock. The red-brown on the back flap is a perfect example, which prompts my to ask what size or type of brush did you use?

Jay,

I used a round size "0" brush for this job.

This is looking really nice Danny.
I see some shading on the pants, but not quite that much on the smocks. What are your plans there?

Looking good so far Danny, shading and highlighting should tone the colours down when you get round to it,looking forward to the final results.

Guys,

Just the base colors have been used so far. I'll get down to shading and highlighting further down the road....(I'll have to get me cup of confidence first).
