After some years, I finished this diorama ... only details like moving rotors (I had to make some test, maybe I just left the standard rotors and move them for pictures) and correct the sunshade glass on the pilot´s head.

Thank you very much to everybody that were patiente enought to wait for the end of this project. Thank you very much ¡¡¡¡¡

Right now I´m writting an article about this diorama, so I hope some magazine could be interested in it...

Some pictures ...

Excellent finish! I hope you decide to submit a feature and maybe add some links here to your build logs — those were really great to follow.

Congratulations on a job well done!

I have some projects on, but right now I´m very interested in a MD-530F helicopter of Blackwater in Iraq... A friend of mine gave me a Dragon kit of Los Angeles Sherif MD500 and I´m quite anxius to transform it into a PMC little bird ...

Thanks for your interest ¡¡¡

yes, I saw sometime ago your helo, but I want to sand out part of the cúpula frame, add the long skids, and more detail inside...and of course the crew for a diorama with the bird flying...

This is very well done , just excellent ! May i give you a suggestion ? I don't know if the rotor blades from the helicopter can spin freely but in that case you can try to let them rotate using the air from a small fan or hair dryer . It will look like real spinning blades on photos.

Hello,

I am not the typical overexagerated "Wow-wunderful-amazing-incredible"-type of guy but this must be one of the best dioramas I have seen the last years. Even if I would have changed some very minor things here and there it is for sure the most convincing "in action"-diorama I have ever seen. The interaction between the elements is, well, "Wow-wunderful-amazing-incredible".... The buildlog was absolute fun to read. I really hope that you will find a publisher.

Best Regards

Dennis

Santiago,

Extraordinary! Great composition, superb colors and weathering, incredible action - that OH-6 looks like it is about to roar out from over the diorama. You sculpted water, trees, a hooch, and built wonderful models.
