Hey everyone, does anyone know if US troops placed any stowage on the outside of the Bradley, the ones with the ERA? Due to some construction issues, most of the doors cannot be opened on my Bradley, so placing stowage on the inside is not really an option. Thanks everyone.

No, no stowage is allowed over the ERA. It degrades the effectiveness of the ERA and is a fire hazard if they are detonated. Also, the M2A3 is a late model Bradley and was used in Iraq when we were operating off Forward Operating Bases and patrols were not long. In these cases, minimal gear was taken since you would be returning back to base usually in the same day or the next day. The needed gear; MREs, water, ammo, and a small bag with a few items for each soldier, is all that was carried.
