Pretty nice little dio you have started there. What do you use for the cobblestones?

Welcome and thanks for the prompt to check out your diorama.
Heres one image
I'd like to offer that some smaller crushed up rubble be added in around and piled up against what you have.

How did you simulate the cobblestone? Is it kat food pellets?
I'm in the planning stages of my first dio. and I'm going to add in some cobblestone. I'll post some pictures when I'm done.

Slodder has hit the nail on the head. With the addition of some small stones and sand, it would give a more realistic rubble effect. Nice little dio base you have there. Everything is well tied together as far as colour is concerened and its nicely framed. Should be the start of a very nice dio

Looks good mate :-) And it appears you may have used a trick I've used in the past with making cobblestones. . . .lentils!

I'd agree with the lentils as an excellent method. And its way easier then cutting peas. You can usually find a bag with a great color to them as well.

Very nice work, especially on the charred building and the rusted oil drum. It took me a while to figure out that advanced technique!
Kitty litter would make excellent debris for the building area, and perhaps either add a few more features to the large open area, or cut down the size of the dio... it is a real art to express the story in a small space... and it appears that 90% of your 'story' happens in a third of your space. Of course, you could be in progress, and have plans for additional elements...
