Definitely. I'm sure many of us have our favorite variants... but first and foremost I would love to see an accurate M113, and then they can go wild with the different versions.
The funny thing is that Takom says: "we understand that other manufacturers are currently working on this subject"... hmmm...

Sounds really interesting. And I would like the predecessor of the M113 as well, the M59 APC. Perhaps DRAGON will do one to go with their M48A1 (but not Black Label hopefully...)?

Wasn't the Dutch version done by AFV-Club?

Nope! It were some YPR variants, not the C&R version.
If they do the C&R I hope one can have the old one with the .50 machine gun and the newer version with the Oerlikon gun.
Anyway, Takom, don't keep us waiting too long, please!

Build a stash of kits and conversions and somebody comes along and makes it obsolete. But great news anyway. Looking forward to what they get right.

I'd like to see an early gasoline powered M113 with the proper interior and exterior details...including a ramp pulley, too.

Very welcome news. I'd be very surprised if the Israeli variants aren't first cab of the rank.

One can almost say that about nearly every kit on the market today...
I'm very HAPPY that FINALLY, the M113 is being recognized as it should be!
Between AFV CLUB, MENG, and now TAKOM, it remains to be seen which of the three will turn out to be the "King of the Hill"...

Someone released that bit of info and it soon became viral on modeling forums, but I never saw any confirmation from Meng.
Not sure where the info on Meng's M113 comes from.
