Aloha guys,
Yet another small update of my progress.
First two pics of the general layout. Note that everything is put together for the pics.
I still have to do the groundwork, paint the rubble, figure and weather the tank.
I've painted and weathered the wall.
The barrel is also my first attempt on painting scratches. I used vallejo acrylic paints for it.
The tank is airbrushed with Tank green from Vallejo model air.
As usual, you know the drill.
Tracks: are painted with humbrol 113 rust and drybrushed with humbrol grey steel. The rubber pads are painted with Tamiya green black
Wall:
Advertisement: : this one come's from Faust vintage collection. Printed on high quality photo paper and weathered with mig pigments.
Barrel: As mentioned earlier. First attempt with Vallejo German grey

Looking good so far, thanks for the update.
When you position the AFV for the final position, make sure it's path and direction make sence.
Also pay attention to where the wall connects to the base. Right now in moch up there are some gaps.

Looking pretty good. The parts you have painted so far look really good. Nothing is over done and that's why I like it. I must say I love the fuel drum and the smaller can. How exactly did you paint them?

Scot,
The idea is that the tank comes from the field onto the road. That's why it's a little off track.
I know about the gaps. They are there becasue I wanted to raise the building higher than the level of the road. Still have to put the groundwork on the glass plate so the gaps will disappear.
Marty,
The barrel and oil tank were painted with dark yellow. Then a wash of Ivory black with zippo fuel. Next a wash with burnt umber and zippo fuel. Then pinted the scratches with Vallejo German grey. I used a 0/10 round brush.
Danny,
Thanks mate. As this is my first attempt on diorama building this means a lot.
Untill the next update.
