Hi guys, have a quick question. I am looking at building a base for a 1/48th scale Me 262 that I am building and I was wondering if anyone has some advice on the best static grass for that particular scale. Is woodland scenics the best route to go?

Try www.scenicexpress.com they have lots of lengths and color of static grass.....I use there grass all the time..

Thanks for the help guys. I asked because I really don't have a local hobby store near me so its really hard to look at products before you buy on the internet and I have spent too much money on products, especially for dioramas, that turn out to not work out for one reason or another. You guys have defiantly pointed me in the right direction. As luck would have it, I received an order from Scenic Express today that had some 6mm pull apart grass in it (truthfully I forgot I had ordered it) It gave me a good idea of the length, so I now know what to do.

But next question - what do you guys use as an applicator for static grass? Scenic Express have some, but they are all upwards of $150 USD! seems like there is an easier and/or cheaper way.
