Does anyone remember a site called "Cerise Normandie", or something similar? I'm sure Frenchy does. It was a French site with hundreds of pics, many unpublished, of Normadie invasion, and Operation Cobra. Most of the pics were stamped "US Army Signal Corps", and were in a very large format. Even some color shots. Lots of interesting and unusual shots of bocage country, knocked-out, or abandoned German vehicles, and arial shots. Can't find that site anymore.

Wasn't flikr as this was as least ten to fifteen years ago. It's good that I down-loaded the gallery and saved the pics.
