Have an idea, that I am going to try, but first wanted to see if someone here has done it, after all the cleaning, and getting everything ready to go, I may see if the trackes can be parkerized, or phosphated.
Since this is what I do, never hurt to try, I have some extra track to use, but I do know that I will need to adjust the heat. The track (if it works) will come out the flat black color, or dark gray, and if the park mixture is old may have a slight rust tint to it.

Have you been able to try this tech. yet, and if you have, did it work, cause I for one never heard of this, and is this something that all can do. Please fill us in, we are always looking for new ways.
