The new Amusing Hobby Sturmmorser is available to buy in Europe. I have just ordered one. Seems no UK vendor though. Now AH are shipping again looks good for those other stalled releases....

I got mine 2 weeks ago from Hong Kong. It's a beautiful model in the box and if it's like other Amusing kits it will be a fun build. You're going to like it.

Same here -- got it from Hobby Easy a couple of weeks back. When to build it is another story.

So why is Amusing Hobby copying Dragon's recent and annoying habit of pumping out prototypes and paper panzers when there are still several vehicles out there that could use updated versions or any version for that matter, like an Sd.Kfz 251/8?

Because they sell. With the popularity of video games that showcase paper panzers, there is a market for these items.

Because they like them?
I'm not sure taking on the big guys directly is the best way to carve out some market share either, just look at the new companies making M1s and Tiger1s and see what sort of critical reception they're getting from the experts. Amusing have a nice angle working for them at present ....
