Hi , here my last build kit . it's Tamiya kit with no aftermarket sets paint as Elefant TD during battle of Kursk .the kit was very enjoyable to build and with nice three figure .i hope you like it .cheers .

The model is nice, but...

You do realize there were no Elefants at Kursk, right? They were all Ferdinands which have visible exterior differences such as no bow mg, no commander's cupola, and no zimmerit. The armor was also a bit thinner and the tracks not as wide.

The experiences AT Kursk were what prompted the Germans to refit the surviving Ferdinands and convert them INTO Elefants, well after Kursk was over.

Also, the Tamiya Elefant is not modeled with zimmerit on it so I believe you chiseled away at the steel itself along the upper half of the superstructure. Actual zimmerit only came about halfway up the sides, roughly just under the pistol ports.

Beautiful paint job, which airbrush are you using ? What psi and paints to get such a nice camo on your elephant?
