Hi Gang,
it may be a long shot, but can anyone tell me what types and sizes of wood pallets are used by the US military? Maybe some active service member can help me out?

The US standard transport pallet is 3-feet by 4-feet. Anything requiring a specialty pallet like 155mm shells and powder have custom pallets. I don't believe there is such a thing as a standard military pallet. At least, during my years in the USMC, I never saw or heard of such a thing.

Now, if you are talking about cardboard pallets for air drops, you'll have to say what you're after.

I've seen many size pallets in my USAF carrier.

For what it's worth:

U.S. DOD, Dept. of Navy, Naval Sea Systems Command[edit]
This organization maintains MIL-STD-1660, the standard description of palletized unit loads for the U.S. Military and some allies.[10]

DOD Unit loads generally use 40 in × 48 in (1,016 mm × 1,219 mm) pallets, are less than 4,000 lb (1,814 kg), weatherproof, and stack 16 ft (4.88 m) high. They often use steel pallets, steel straps with notched seals, outdoor plywood, and plastic film. The standard describes tests for stacking, transport, sling, forklift and pallet jack, impact, drop tests, tip, water-retention, and disassembly.

Thanks all you guys! Thats why I like this forum! I look for ordinary pallets to fit on my M1120 model later like I saw them on Saber Juntion 12. I know that there is no dedicated "military pallet". Over here we use standard 800mm by 1200 mm Euro Pallets, which a different from the US models. Looks like I have to get me some more Evergreen strips to a pallet production.
Cheers
