Hi all,

I was wondering what artillery units the USMC had during the Vietnam-conflict.
This is a picture of an Army M107 used by the USMC and I would like to know what was in the yellow 'shield' next to the serial number. I know usually there is a battalion number (like '1 TK' with M48's from the first tank battalion) but what could this be for an USMC artillery unit?
'Chosen Few' belonged to the I corps.
