i bought some of that dentyne ice gum and when i finished it, i realized that the plastic the gum came in might be good for mixing paint. now i mix all of my paints in that plastic. its perfect for mixing, with all of the seperate compartments and its free!

That just goes to show, the simplest things can become genius with some imagination. I use old egg cartons and they work OK.

I keep the tops of all coke, fanta, 7-up, etc bottles. Great little cup size for paint mixtures and washes. Cost nothing ... no return on them and just dump when finished.

I'm using "blisters" for mixing enamels and acrylics too. Having access to plenty of useless CD ROMs I find them really useful to mix oils...
