Khazakstan ordered BMPTs in 2010 and vehicles were delivered between 2011 and 2013. The first 3 vehicles they received were just the most up to date version on offer (export) at the time.

If Russia or any other country had ordered BMPTs at the same time, they would have received the same type.

The same version was tested by Algeria :

So this version was NOT specific to Khazakstan.

If time had stopped at 2012, it could be true.
But after the trials of the first three vehicles, Kazakhstan ordered some modifications, mainly in electronics but also including the elimination of the grenade launchers, ALA BMPT-72, just to give an example -that leading to a crew of only 3 members-.
Not to mention that in 2012 Kazakhstan ordered 30 more full vehicles, which we -or at least me- didn't ever see in photos.

On the other hand, Algeria tested the vehicle in 2013, and they did not decide yet the acquisition, nor the final specs. For instance, if they will go for the T-90 or the T-72 based BMPT's, considering Algeria owns a number of T-72 that can be modified with BMPT's packs, but no T-90's, thus the option of fully imported vehicles being obviously more expensive.

Since we still don't know how Trumpeter's kit will actually be, it's a bit early to judge if it will be accurate or if they only changed its decals for the Kazakhzstan army ones...

If you check their post back in months you would actually see their test of this and it is not just some decal switch job. Actually this variant has some major modification on its visual shape. some advice: think wisely.

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying.
I'm basing my conclusions on what can be seen in photos, not on what might have been.
So far I haven't seen any photos of any of the 30 BMPTs Khazakstan considered purchasing so - unless someone has better info - they simply do not exist at the present time.

What we do have are photos of some of the BMPT's in use with Khazakstan army and they are crewed by 5 men :

This is one of those demo BMPT's in 2012 (KADEX Show). It doesn't belong to Khazakstan but has the same features :

Photos of Trumpeter model :

The BMPT version as sold to Khazakstan differs from previous versions significantly :

The only BMPT that has a crew of 3 is the BMPT-72 AFAIK.
The BMPT-72 certainly cannot be confused with BMPT Terminator. They are two different vehicles.

And BTW, Algeria has plenty of T-90 tanks (T-90SA), as a simple Google search will show.

You are right about Algeria's T-90's.

I should leave drinking so early.......
