Andrew Folz has sent Armorama news on some Afghan figures that should attract a lot of attention with the interest in conflict in that area of the world. This so far covers five figures, but due to Stalingrad Miniatures being listed as the company that may well grow.

I have read that they will be Stalingrad figures....and oh do they look great.

I believe Masterbox also offers a set of Middle East figures. So more than one company offers figures of this type.

One kit of Iraqi fighters (3576), another group that can pass as Middle Easterners in more military-style garb (35163), and several sets that have at least 1-2 civilian figures that can be used with slight modification.
