Hello all,

I would like to hear from anyone on what are the 'best' colours for a King Tiger camo ?

I wanted to paint a dark yellow/red brown/dark green scheme.
But i was not too happy with the outcome from Tamiya paints.

So, i would like to hear any suggestions on any acrylic paint mixtures to get the desired effect.

Thanks !

I use Model Master enamels and acrylics. Depending on when you want to set production, any of the three basic '43 colors can be used as the first primary color with the other two applied over it. I work in braille scale, so I hand paint about everything, but I haven't had any problems with Testors paint.

I use the Tamiya XF-60 Dark Yellow, XF-61 Dark Green and XF-64 Red Brown, or XF-9 Hull Red. It will come out fairly dark, but when you weather the paint, it will lighten up.
