I got my copy of the book today. It is a thick beast. 7x8 inches and about 2 inch thick. Just over 1000 pages.
Heavily illustrated (mostly bw photos) but I wouldn't use the book for modeling reference. It is not a coffee table book. Lots of portraits of SADF officers from the unit. The picture sizes are usually 2 x 3 inch, some 3 x 3 inch and the odd picture here and there that is is full page size. Besides the portraits of the officers, there are pictures of the equipment, the battlefield and some half page and full page maps, colour prints of unit badges.
