This softcover book was supposed to be released Oct 2015 but it seems still to be in limbo. Also by Helion and Co.

I recently finished "The Last Hot Battle of the Cold War" which covered this battle. Very interesting.

I almost purchased Last Hot Battle of the Cold War but the reviews mentioned there is a lack of maps in the book. This factor made me hold off.

Excellent book even without the maps. You can always Google up some maps (though I realize its not the same.)

The Helion book on Cuito Cuanavale is now available on Amazon. I just ordered my copy from the Wordery for just over $20 CAD (shipping included)

Mike,
History really should contain maps of what they are talking aobut. HOWEVER, many seem to never have the locations that are talked about in the text. Very frustrating!
Regards,
Georg
