i was wondering if you could help me.
I’m building Tamiya’s Mk 5 Chieftain,
I’m thinking about making it an Iraqi Afv but i need to know witch wapon i should use to put on the cupola.
Should i use the one that’s in the box or should i try to put a PKM on the cupola?
If anybody knows let my know.

the only pic i have shows it had no cupola mounted gun, not even a mount, so id leave it off just to be on the safe side

I have no idea what variant Iraqis used, but educated people here say that Tamiya kit is actually reasonably accurate but simplified Chieftain Mk 3, not Mk 5. To make it real Mk 5 a lot of work is needed (or you need to get resin conversion set). But maybe Iraqis used Mk 3, I don't know...
