Hello @ all,
one more project which I am working on... the paperpanzer E-75 in 1/35 by Trumpeter plus metal barrel and some etched parts from my stock.
First I have reworked the surface a bit. Tamiya glue and an old brush .... plus some putty ... then the before smooth surface looked like this.....
.... and with some photo etched parts added, some plastic parts.... some wire .... then it looked like this .....
A first layer of light grey as primer followed next. Then black was used to make some shadows on the surface. Also to make some differences between plates or other details. Pure white was used for further highlights with a brush.
The main painting was made with Lifecolor RLM082 which was airbrushed in several thin layers, leaving the primers shine through. The brown and beige camouflage was painted with a brush. Then some damages were added in light green, dark grey with a sponge and a fine brush, also some damages with the base coat were added in the camouflage.
The some washings in brown, green, yellow, black followed.....
Next - more shadows... more washes... some dark filters, some rainmarks, some dust, some oil, then dust on the surface, and some mud at the lower area..... and some rusty spare tracks on the turret ....
Cheers
Micha

Nice work so far. Not sure you need the jack mounts on the lower rear. These had been dropped from the Koenigstiger and Jagdtiger because the powers-that-be decided that a 20-ton jack wasn't much use on a 70-ton vehicle (though some Jagdtiger crews disagreed, and tossed a spare jack on the engine deck when they could get one).

OH... that sounds interesting.... a good info! Thank you! Seeing that from this point, then it really makes no sense to carry the jack with such heavy tank,.... ok... removing
I am in "reworking" mood ... as I made a big mistake already in this kit .... airbrushed it in SILVER on the full camouflage instead of clear coat.... hmmm.... never spray on a nearly finished painting when having painted something different before.... never do that without cleaning the airbrush before....
after that "funny" adverture... after some I have given the lower hull a light beige, the turret and some further details an oxid-red painting.
Some small parts brush painted, some washing later .... actually it looks like that ... not finished .... just trying ....
What do you think so far?
Cheers

Hi, Micha! Nice work!
Re: The painting error with the SILVER paint- I avoid these kinds of errors by fully breaking down and thoroughly cleaning whichever airbrush I'm using at any given time. I own, and use, 4 different airbrushes; 2 PAASCHE H-1s- 1 for general work, the other strictly for metallics, a BADGER 200 with a fine tip for general work with complicated camo patterns, and a BADGER 200G Gravity-feed, with an ultra-fine tip, for detail and special effects. This may seem like over-kill to some modellers, but for me it's a "fool-proof" system...

SILVER TANK!!! GOTT IM HIMMEL!!!
Maybe you became so enthusiastic about your E-75 project that you were just a bit distracted by it! I'm sure that other modellers have made similar mistakes, MYSELF included, BEFORE I bought my "extra" airbrushes!!!

Michael,
Excellent. Love the streaky effect on the paint. That barrel is so long! Definitely wouldn't want to be in a city with that.

Hello,
finally the paper tank "Standartpanzer" E-75 in scale 1/35 from Trumpeter is finished. I have used a metal barrel, some etched parts and Friul tracks additionally.
The painting, markings, weathering is without any real sample, the painting was a spontanteous idea after I have destroyed the first paintings
I hope you like it.
Cheers

Nice save! It turned out great? Any reason why the gun mantlet is tilted to the right, or is it just that triangular piece on top of it?
