The Dodge could be EITHER the WC-51 4x4 OR the WC-62/WC-63 6x6. The vehicles were nearly identical in the sheet metal parts ahead of the Driver's seat... Any special reason why you need to know specifically, like for example, a diorama, perhaps? I'll be glad to look through my books to see if I can find anything to that effect, but I can't promise results, as quite a few books are still at my other house, which is 126 miles away...

If my memory serves, there were a few other shots, taken from different angles and sides of this Tiger I undergoing an engine-change. In some of the other shots, the engine has already been removed, using a Bilstein Crane mounted on a FAMO Half-track. If this scene is of the very same occurrence, then I can safely say that the Dodge in the photos is indeed a WC-51 3/4-Ton Weapons Carrier. If any of the other readers happen to have the old RYTON Tiger I and Sturmtiger book, (I know that book and my RYTON Panther book are at my other house), the whole sequence of photos can be found within...

Hope this helps, and Good Luck!

Guys, check out the distance between the front corner of the load box and the beginning of the rear wheel cutout. That has to be the smaller 4x4 WC and not the 6x6. That distance is about 40 or 50% greater on the 6x6.

You're right, Mike! I'm willing to bet that the WC-51 in Milojko's photo is a part of the same photo-sequence depicted in the RYTON Tiger I and Sturmtiger book that I wrote about earlier...

I'd confirm, but I just don't have the book handy at the moment- It's 126 miles away!

Hi,

I completely forgot I had the ryton book, the last picture in the series of shots shows more of the Dodge and the caption reads that it is the 3/4 ton wc51
