I got on to Armorama this morning and was very pleasantly surprised to see my German soldier bust looking back at me from the top of the screen. And to then see that he shares this corner with the likes of the work of Gino Poppe, Vince Wai and others ( just to name the figure painters here)...well, I'm stunned.
Jim, I just want to thank you for this honor.
You can't know what something like this means to me. :-)

Mel:
I had to look at that guy a couple times to tell if iactually was scale bust. Sorta looks like a painting off a propaganda poster or a real person.
Congrats! Good to see you floating around here again too....

Craig,
Your welcome. And you under-rate your work. It belongs up there.

Kinda cool eh, Craig?! It deserves to be up there.

This is another nice touch Jim. I like that you added each builder's name next to each model.

I was also nicely surprised to see models of our own guys next to the Armorama banner decorating the site. Nice to see their names as well.

Nice touch Jim... IMO it somehow makes a stronger sense of community here.

Hi Grant,
I just saw your figure come up in the rotation too.
The company I'm keeping here just keeps on getting better and better .

Just a note about that feature. Obviously the quality of the kit, figure or diorama was important in selecting the images. But that was not the only factor. Having the right angle, composition (layout) or background made much of the decision as well. Altready having a white background color for example.

Cheers,
Jim
