Their previous furniture set is pretty nice, the plastic is kind funky but it takes paint fine and the detail is good.

Not a time traveler, just a reenactor who has to do some household chores before going off to play. Great stuff for a modern diorama. One always sees abandoned appliances on roadsidesome.

I bought identical looking items from various Chinese vendors on ebay a year or more ago - same items were being sold by lots of different sellers.
If these are the same, and they look like it, be aware the scaling is perhaps at the large end.
On ebay and Aliexpress etc these were variously advertised as 1/30, 1/32 and 1/35. Same story with the previous release of items from J's Work - had already bought the identical bed set, toilet set etc for a couple of bucks off ebay. All the items now sold by J's Work seem to have vanished off ebay etc, but there are still a few of the related items that used to be sold along with the washing machine/dryer etc - for example:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/16pcs-Doll-House-Kitchen-Furniture-Cabinet-Cupboard-Closet-Full-SET-1-30-Model-/142033969386?hash=item2111e260ea:g:WcMAAOSwmtJXa3Ai
Anyway, here's some pictures to show what I mean by the size - could be passable so long as you use large figures etc. Figures in this pic for reference are by (left to right) Umodel, Alpine, Evolution - looks more in scale with the larger Evolution figure. The washing machine/dryer is 35mm tall which scales out in 1:1 to 122cms or 48 inches - a little on the tall side for a front loader but not beyond the realms of possibility I guess.
And here's some shots of the chair - using in turn a Umodels figure and then an Evolution figure - doesn't look too bad with the bigger figure.
