The sculptor may actually be working from memory. He seems to have gotten everything correct as far as I recall but then again I am retired.

You mean if he got laid a few times, he wouldn't be interested in the female form anymore?! I'd feel sorry for him if that were true

WAIT A MINNIT GIGGLES! I'm a part of the "Car Crowd", and I certainly CAN & DO paint Figures!!!

(Don't take the "GIGGLES" personally!)

BTW- The car is a 1958 Chevrolet Impala Convertible Coupe, Model 1867, which would probably have been equipped with a 283 cu.in. Engine, or the optional 348 cu.in Engine. Very likely, this car wo9uld have been equipped with the 2-speed Powerglide
Automatic Transmission, or the Standard 3-speed Manual unit.

There were a bewildering array of Interior options available, but I'm not even going to venture a guess of what colors or materials this particular "car" in the illustration is equipped with. Suffice it to say that Cloth, Vinyl, or Leather Interiors were available in the 1958 Chevy Impala lineup. Just off the top of my head, the logical colors to match the Of note is the "Continental" Spare Tire, which was as often dealer-installed, as not. The 3-spoked "Knock-offs", mounted as "Center Caps" on the Wheel Covers were also items that dealers pushed, along with Mud Flaps, Chromed or Painted Fender Skirts, Dual Antennae, and other such extraneous claptrap, in order to increase the "bottom line"...

I am not of the "car crowd" but I really hope that these girls will hit the shelves of my LHS VERY soon, together with the Cowgirl and Indian (American Native?) girl.

Notice the painting color guide suggestion for figure 24017. There is a color code for the skin tone of the legs but none for the under garment. Therefore there may not be . . .

Anyway, thanks for the sneak peek, oops, I mean, thanks for the heads-up

I mean, Thanks for the new product release feature, Hisham!

ok, yeah, like I'm the ONLY one who noticed . sure

Generalizing. Lots of military modelers can't paint figures, either!

Actually, if you look at the small pic on top of the color code chart, you can see a hint of the white underwear... Up to each modeler's discretion, of course

I noticed that the face sculpting has been much better. No comparison with the Pin-Up series. Now these "girls" look like girls!

You really want the artists to show an arrow pointing up the skirt?

Hi, Biggles! Yeah, that's true, but some of them are TERRIFIC MODELLERS, otherwise.

Maybe if they weren't so tied up in modelling "the PERFECT TIGER I/or insert your favorite model here_____________", after innumerable tries... Maaaybe, they could spend some time practicing painting figures, (A GOOD reference "How To" manual, or an online tutorial might help), their figure-painting skills could/would improve...

NEVER say die...

Who says they've got to be wearing any underwear..? Modellers with some sculpting skills could work WONDERS! (check out the PEGASO 90mm Girls)
