Well the amateur that I am can see that it's not 2/3 RAL8000 broken by 1/3 RAL7008 camo that Tunisian Tigers were painted in.
Just sayin
But yes it does look great, and the Techniques on display are far better then my abilities.

Well, there you have it. Doesn't get more brutally direct than that. Well done, Ian.

Being "there" is not a prerequisite to comment in this case. The RAL colors applied to both sPzAbt 501 and sPzAbt 504 Tigers are well documented. Actual examples, photos and research by a noted member on this forum will tell you that the colors on this particular example are wrong.
Beautiful build, but wrong for what he wants to depict.

Nice Tunisian Tiger. I built 112 as well from the old Tamiya kit and had to heavily modify it to get to look accurate. Lots of PE and such. I painted my kit in RAL 7008. Which was not the tropen scheme these tanks were said to have. I might re-paint it now that I have the Dragon kit which comes with the 112 decal.

Thank you for nice comment. Hanve Some modellers open new era of Tiger tank painting? Great!! But I don't want to join them. This is my last model photo to upload in this web. Good luck to you and your Tiger 112. Thank you
