Like Jacob Hederstierna i have been building the new Takom T55AMV, and i dont want to hijack he´s blog.

This is the new Takom T55AMV, made as a very used Syrian tank.
Most photo of syrian tank show the ERA blocks missing or in a bad shape, i have tried to make this on my model.

Model before paint:


With Tamiya TS-61 NATO green from Rattle Can.


Painted with Tamiya Nato green, brown, flat earth, buff.


With wash from MIG.


With chipping and drybrush

You are right, It is a fine kit, you get a lot of parts,
(a lot more than the Tamiya T-55) Many of the Takom parts
are rather delicate, like the plumbing for the 3 aux. diesel
containers.
