Im building the Tamyia duce @half at the moment what I need to know is what are the rifle holders made of, is it leather and what colour?.Also were those holders used in service are they worth including. many thanks to Robert(faust) for his photo's of this vehicle Ive used them a lot.

If you're talking about modern ones, they are a black rubber- coated steel clip on the top and a black rubber cup for the bottom. I don't know if older ones were different. Cheers!

They were made of sheet metal.
I can't seem to find any good, clear photos of one on the web right now, but they were also used in other vehicles. You might want to try a few jeep sites, as the same rifle bracket was used on them, mounted horizontally along the inside of the windshield mount. belkow the glass.

they were painted OD the same as the main vehicle color. most of the US ones were sheet metal with brass clips to hold the weapons in.
