well, not suprising. guess I'll keep the stock tracks on, painted, as academy doesn't quite rate the added cost of am tracks. Meng is a diff story.would preferr something from masterclub, but spade ace'll do

There're few Meng MK3D models on the net with the kit tracks and there're looking good. No need to change them i thinks specially when mot of the tracks are not visible.

The Meng IIID tracks are fine. I have a small sbs on a thread I started here on the Meng Mk.IIID tracks (was that really four years ago!!). I really should finish this someday...
As mentioned, the best tracks for the Academy 2D are the Friul 'Batash' tracks.

can't access idf-modelling due to op-sec, AND there's nowhere to register . before THAT happened, used to see a LOT of really nice work over there. for the 2D I'll leave it with the trax that came with it. the 3D is another story. found where I can get a set of spade ace, if the indi-linx become too much of a pain

Regaerding the tracks, HB tracks will not fit academy kits, I think they do fit meng ones. I bought Friul tracks for my Meng kit.

yeah, the other intent was to see if hb trax would fit meng's 3D,and if they're available separately.figures they might fit since spade ace's fits both 3d's
I'd seen that before, kinda being selective in who they let in, and then there's using real names, and maybe not getting in till 4 months from now
