Fantastic! I suppose you are probably a rail road engineer IMO. Thanks for sharing.

very nice! I think you should consider putting the Trumpeter tracks in a bed of real gravel as the plastic part does the quality of your models no justice. Keep us posted.

thanks for your comments. The tracks in the photo's are just display tracks from my wall display cases. I'm not going to build the diorama until I've built all the pieces to put on it. Been that road before. For me its the painting of models that drives me . To be honest building them is a bit of a chore and I always seem to make at least one mistake per model. I'm a retired offset printer, hence the love of colour. I'm a huge collector and builder of model loco's, all scales, static or motorized. The Baluard Ko1 is very basic and everything that rises above the flat plane is scratchbuilt.

Fully understood. In fact, the figure which is standing between loco and freight car in the 10th photo is very unnatural. Because that situation is extremely dangerous for rail road workers. But that is not important . Your dio is still beautiful.

Dynomite craftsmanship on that model!
i watched a scale plastic figure crawl along the edge . . . of an exacto blade . . . that's my dream , it's my nightmare . . . . . . . crawling , slithering . . . . . along the edge . . . . . . of an exacto . . . . . blade . . . . and surviving
