Hi!
Did anybody ever use the Leopard 2 tracks from Armour Track Models or AFV Club on the Tamiya Leopard 2 A5?
How is the fit, esp. on the drive sprocket and what about sink holes and ejector marks?
TIA,

Hi "VR"
I have used the Armour Track ones on my Strv 122, and they are very nice! They fit great and there are no sink holes or ejector pin marks to clean up. I would highly recommend them.

You used the Tamiya Leopard 2A5 and the HKCW conversion for your Stv 122 conversion?
How is it? I plan to get one too.

Thomas,
The HKCW Strv 122 is very nice, it's one of the nicest resin conversions I have worked with. Some people say it is too expensive but to convert the Leo into what is IMHO one of the coolest looking tanks on the planet (especially with that camo scheme) I think it is worth the price. The only thing I would say to look out for is when you are assembling the pieces for the additional frontal armor. Make sure you dry fit everything so there are no gaps. The worst part of the whole project was having to scratch the cages for the headlights.

One Strv 122 with Baracuda camouflage system mounted.

One naked. Tank, not girl.
