I recently bent and broke the white metal GPMG barrel on the PEAK turret of the FV432 that I'm almost done with. No way to repair it but am I safe to assume that I can replace it with the front portion of a FN MAG?
Thanks,
Paul

Yes you would be safe to use the front bit from a MAG-58. To the best of my knowledge the major [visual] differences between the MAG-58 and the GPMG are the barrel change handle, the stock, the receiver top cover and the presence of the sight mounting bracket on the left rear of the GPMG receiver.
I hope that helps.

dan is correct, the main difference is the sighting mounts on the reciever,
so you can swap the broken barrel part with any FN MAG one,
