Just acquired Meng's Russian Light AA Gun Set and nosing around the internet I see a picture of a ZPU-1 at the Batey ha-Osef Museum, Tel Aviv and that Wikipedia lists Israel as a ZPU "user". Further trolling draws blanks.
Does anyone know if Israel did employ the ZPU-1 or is the museum piece a trophy?

This is not exactly what you are looking for, but still may help. Since you’ve got all ZPU range in one kit, here are more IDF trophy ZPU’s on ZiL-157 trucks which can be an interesting prototype. For example, you could use Trumpeter ZiL kits lineup.
