Has anyone heard any new information about the Dragon T54E1 kit? I thought I remembered that there were some turret shape issues, which at this point is expected with "Black Label" kits. I was hoping maybe this would be the kit that Dragon decides to turn their reputation around, all it would take is a little more effort, with help from the excellent information pool both here and on other forums, to get the kits to a better level of accuracy. In doing so I think Dragon would do themselves a world of good, satisfied customers are ALWAYS better for business than unsatisfied ones, especially when they are as vocal as we are as a group.

Nothing, I pre-ordered it back the end of last year to get free shipping with another kit I got at the time.
Hope it doesn't turn into the M3 Lee or M4A3E2 Jumbo announcement they did a few years ago...vaporware.

I had to update my shipping address (moved recently) and checked the Dragon site...looks like a possible September release now?

Thanks Scott, I hadn't seen that. Those looks like the old original CAD drawings, there was talk in an earlier thread about them refining the design, hopefully that actually happened. I am really looking forward to this September.

Hi, All!
Given BLACK PLAGUE's reputation (NOT Good), I'm not going to pre-order this thing until I find out what the reviews will have to say about it. I'd say it's a "GO", since they DO have a "Box Art" image for the box top, and all the associated propaganda images for the flip side of the bottom box worked out. Time will tell.
Also, I'm still a bit put out by the "NEVER-NEVER SHOW" of the M3 Lee. Not so much the M4A3E2 "Jumbo", as the ASUKA/TASCA "Jumbo" is such a good kit. I'd REALLY like to see DRAGON do an all-new M3/M3A1 Stuart/Honey, and the the M3 Lee that never happened. If not DRAGON, then AFV CLUB, or ASUKA for the Stuart and the Lee... One can only hope...

I noticed the release too. What did they think of it, Scott?
