It says New t-142 type tracks, are these more of their rubber bands tracks, or are they finally going to take a step forward and catch up with the competition with workable tracks?

AFV Club have already tooled a set of Indi link T-142s, so they will be belt tracks.

YESSSS!!!

YES, YES!!!

YES, YES, YESSSS!!! (see: The Three Stooges)

I SINCERELY HOPE that AFV CLUB will continue in this vein. In my opinion, it would be VERY NICE if AFV CLUB were to follow through with an all-new M60 of their own, PLUS resurrect their M48A3(?) from the "Test Shot"-stage, which has been in suspended animation for a few years.

In fact, if AFV CLUB were to read the various "rave reviews" ( ) that disgruntled modellers have been giving those semi-dreadful DRAGON M48-series, M60 & M60A2 kits, one would think that AFV CLUB would take advantage of this deplorable state of things and produce a whole line of new M48s, and a whole raft of M60/M60A-based vehicles. These would definitely sell- There have CERTAINLY been enough readers and contributors on this site alone, voicing their desires for kits of the aforementioned vehicles, the modellers posting on competitive modelling sites notwithstanding...

JOY for US Modern Armor fans!!!

Now if ONLY AFV CLUB would make good their M8 HMC which never materialized... One can only hope...

PS- I have several sets of the AFV CLUB "Indy-link" T142s, and quite a few other AFV "Indy-link" Track sets. They're sort of semi-OK, but I would very much prefer if AFV CLUB were to re-tool these, and ALL of their other "Indy-link" Track sets; their "Indy-links" have these unsightly circular "knock-outs", (ejector-pin marks), on each link, (on EITHER the inside or outside surfaces, depending on the application), which can be difficult to remove and/or fill. In addition, they are very fragile to boot, which can make the AFV CLUB "Indy-link" Tracks a real bear to assemble...

Great news! Love the M60A3, so now I can build one from Italeri with AM and a OOB from AfV Club. Good choice of early/late gun and aluminium/steel too!

Any pictures of the turret? I'm curious if it will have the same overdone casting texture as the M60A1 or the possibly even worse alternative, almost no casting texture at all on the turret, and still the same overdone texture on the hull parts, as in the M60A2. I know that I definitely would prefere the texture that Dragon has on their M48-series.

Full MILES gear and the gumball light? I hope by warning light they don't mean the "kill" from the simulator.

I have a dozen or so colorful marking schemes for M60A3tts . My unit was a pretty colorful bunch.

Hi, Stephen!

Well, if the full MILES Gear and "Gunball Light" aren't included in the kit, then I'm sure that the A/M boys will jump on them. I'd watch VOYAGER, DEF and REALMODEL after the -A3 is released by AFV CLUB. I'd LOVE IT if AFV were to include this stuff in their latest M60-series kit. If not, then I'll be watching the A/M scene for them...

Hi, Javier!

The Chieftain Mk.6 will be MOST WELCOME, too!!!

The tracks are rubber band style. But, the track end connect together with a single long pin and not the traditional male and female connectors that are melted or glued. A novel approach to not having a visible connection point.

The casting texture is the same as the M60A1 as the same common parts are used in the new M60A3/M60A3 TTS kit.

The Hoffman device, the turret mounted "kill" light, and the cupola .50 Cal blank firing adaptor are included in the kit. There are no MILES gear belts or sensors or control boxes included in the kit.

I got one from my LHS last week. Post some assembly manual pictures to highlight the difference to AFV Club M60A1.

From the part list we can see most parts is from M60A1. However, no many parts left when finish the kit. (not include the wheels)

Not sure what the point of providing interior parts for the driver's position would be when those details can only be seen through a single small hatch
