Another old thread. M915/M916, basically the same truck. M915 is a 4x6, while the M916 is a 6x6, the winch is not a factor in the type.

Would this be the same type of truck that hauled our 113's out of the field at Ft. Bliss Tx. Back in the 80's?

By the way, that turret ring.. can I use one from an old HUMVEE kit, or is that a bespoke part?
I guess any leftover HUMVEE gun ring would fit the bill
