Four identical photos of the same sprue aren't doing anything for me. Neither are the rubber band tracks.

Hey, but they're two-piece rubber bands. That's cutting edge.

On further reflection, you are correct. Let's not omit the multi-piece lower hull.

Brought to you with brand-new twenty years old technology.
Is it me or do those vinyl tracks look fuzzy?
Even their Panther D from 10 years ago had link to link track.

Nothing gives me more satisfaction than further disassembling a kit beyond what's in the box in order to emulate ICM before building it. If I happen to temporarily lose my sanity and buy this, I'll try MIG welding the hull. I'm always game for trying a new technique.

I think they do a better job on their aircraft kits. This one looks horrid.

To their defence, it is more likely made for their home market, to compete with the Zvezda/Dragon offering, in such times of austerity.

And IMO looks better than that re-release.
Having grown up squaring the hulls of innumerable braille scale armor, I have never had a problem with multiple part hulls that were not of my own making. In fact it often leads to superior detail as the most recent Tamiya kits have reverted to it!

I think I will wait for the Takom kit to be released, this kit does not look to be worth building.

The single piece tow cable - cleaning rods - clamps, and rubberband tracks look a little retro. Of course, if it was selling for under $20 that would be a bargain.

Empty cupola, no grilles, barrel in halves with no seperate muzzle break, plastic tow cables, 2 part rubber belts for the tracks...
This kit is truly jam-packed with features, isn't it?

I think this will be a a great build. Looks very easy to build and not a lot of parts. I can build a King Tiger over and over again because there are so many different camo schemes and unit markings. I will upgrade the tracks to metal.

Well partslayout looks mor 1/72 to me. For a 1/35 kit it is a joke.

Maybe ICM thinks there is a market for a simpler, easier to build 1/35 armor kit.
As I get older I find that more detailed kits just aren't fulfilling me anymore and I yearn for something simpler to build. I might be willing to sacrifice certain things for value.

I wouldn't say a multi-part hull and split barrel make an "easier to build" kit...
