I saw this pic of this weird turret thing.. then I found a
video of it that says T-55.. but one of the guys on FB said it's a Type 69 II... what I'm interested in is the lower chassis.. anyone know what that is taken from, if it's not built especially for this thing?

Hi!
No idea at all except this one: could that be a turret trainer that was then taken out into combat and put into an emplacement?

Suspenion looks a Soviet AA gun, maybe 57mm S-60?
CAD Images mean nothing.
What does a rivet counter count on a cast or welded tank hull?

My first thought too, but the S-60 carriage appears to be "lighter" :

Maybe a converted radar trailer ?

Thanks, guys... It does look close, but can't be sure.
What about the part underneath the turret? Do you think it's taken from something, or just a box built especially for this thing?

Hisham, I think this may have been a bespoke build for a gunnery school. It looks similar to the types used by other armies around the world. I've Googled for about 3 hours so far and can't find any matches...

Different wheels would indicate there's more than one of these.
