I asked the poster and he doesn't know what it is, just that it was shown at Wonderfest Japan.
The steering wheel is on the left so I'm assuming it's Western. I cannot see any weapons on it. The tires seem very small.
Is it a French 4X4? Is it JGSDF? Anyone know? Thanks.

What is this new 4X4 FAV at Wonderfest?

Special Forces golf cart ?
The box behind it looks like those of Hasegawa/Maschinen Krieger (Ma.K) sci-fi kits...

It looks like one of those ATV things popular among off-roaders. Can anyone read the box?

Doesn't look like the FAV announced by Hobbyboss years ago, unfortunately.

I really don't believe it's Sci-Fi (Maschinen Krieger) because no Japanese Sci-Fi/Anime that I know of uses present modern military technology for their vehicles. Maschinen Krieger especially uses vintage-retro tech and 1/20 scale, not 1/35. Maschinen Krieger hardly has any present day modern-looking military wheeled vehicles.
This looks like a real FAV of some sorts. What's interesting is the the gray primer 4X4 has a front bench seat. I don't know of any modern Western 4X4 that uses a bench seat as the front seat.
The green 4X4 in the background appears to have some sort of weapons ring mount over the rollcage, but no weapon is seen on the rollbars.
The tiedown hooks under the bumper kind of hint that this is an actual vehicle used in military service. Could it be the new JGSDF 4X4 for their V-22s? (However, the JGSDF 4X4s have the steering wheel on the right, not left).
I thought it was an upgraded version of the Canadian Iltis or a French VPS or Peugeot (or German Mercedes G-wagen) vehicle because of the signature pillar rollbar on the gray 4X4. However, the wheels are so small.

A friend of mine said that it could be a Sci-Fi scratchbuild in 1/20 scale (that may explain the small tires) as he's seen in progress photos before. He'll check and I'll post more news as it becomes available.

This would be cool in 1/35, the fact there is two makes me think (hope) it is not a scratch build! Fingers crossed.

The box art behind it is from their Hasegawa/Maschinen Krieger (Ma.K) line. The kit on the right side of the pic is definitely from the Hasegawa/Maschinen Krieger (Ma.K) line. It is the leg, foot from one of the walkers of the series.
While most of the line is in 1/20, there is some in 1/35.

David Woods (dwartist) has narrowed it down and I believe he has found the answer. It's Sci-Fi...a possible Ma.K 1/20 Falke tractor-trailer (1/20 being a guess).

David said that he found this vehicle in a 1980s Kow Yokoyama sketchbook, so it's definitely Kow Ma.K designed. Looks like they militarized it and made it into a kit. How interesting...if 1/20...it could be the largest Sci-Fi FAV made so far! (You supply the gun).

More news from David Woods (dwartist).
This is scratchbuild offered as a resin 1/20 Scout Car kit from the Sci-Fi Ma.K world.
It was offered at Wonderfest Japan about two years ago, but it's unknown if it will be offered again.
It could be one of those, "Sold only at Wonderfest Japan" kits.
Apparently, one version has a rollcage on top.
