I got trigger happy and pushed "enter" before I was done with a message, so I got two messages for the price of one! One with the text I wanted and an empty one. I could "edit" and "delete" both. I tried to delete the empty, but it didn't work. Any suggestions?

What does the "delete" option do?

Brian,
I think whatever you did worked because I can't find an empty post by you. You probably hit "back" on your browser and are just seeing a cached version of the page. On Internet Explorer you can hit CTRL + F5 to do a forced refresh of the page. See if that doesn't removed the 2nd post. If not let me know where it is.

Jim,
I did the ctrl-F5 but the empty post still shows. It is located in Forum Index>>Painting Issues>>Hardcore Accuracy fan/Looks good...

Ahh...I see it now. I actually had to go into the database and delete that one. Obviously missing a delete topic function.
