Hi guys & Girls,

After a long brake, i'm around here again :-)
During this brake i've started to complete my unfinished figures, vignettes and dioramas.
This vignette is called "Comrades In arms". I made it OOB.
The base and figures are from "Jaguar".
I hope you all like it. I would like to hear your opinions.
Thanks from now.

I like it very much. Simple but very expressive.

The only thing I can add, is the advice to use the weathering techniques like washing and drybrushing a bit more on the faces, hands and the black boots. The clothing looks excellent, but the face and the black boots look a bit flat. A tiny bit of highlighting and shadowing would make a difference here.

The overall picture : Great vignette !!

A very nice dio straight from the box. nice one LM2. Great painting on the building ruin.
I have to echo what eagle has said about weathering. Although well painted ... it could do with some shadow and highlights. This adds better depth to the figures. Also I like the results of a dark wash between colours .. to define better, but also adds depth. Areas like the mans belt and canvas leggings would really benifit from this. Both figures faces are very monotone flesh and could to do with a slight shading and highlighting.
The fallen eagle emblem also needs a heavy weathering as its very bright and stands out too much. A good dusting with pastels would also help this.
The joining of arms would e marginally too big for my liking as well. A little putty pushed in rubbed off with aceton-free nail-polish remover usually fixes this for me.
Overall its a lovely little vignette and very appealing. Just pointing out some things, IMO, would bring it up to another level. And most of this is still possible to do!

I agree with Eagle - simple well stated, nice
you've done a good job on it. I like the wall on the left side. The face on the womans is very nice along with her uniform.

One thing I would like to see (or not see as much of) is the seams between the arms and torsos. A bit of putty would smooth those out a bit. Some is ok, as a shirt seam.

Thanks for sharing and doesn't it feel good to finish a kit

Aaargghh..
I knew that Everything is because of m113.
Look what he said to me :
"These tank commanders, one American one Soviet, turned their tanks ignition off, despite the war, found some water in a hotel, took showers, put on their best clothes, and met at Berlin , for this picture !"...and i believed him
Off course i could do more weathering.
Anyway, thanks for your opinions and still waiting for further thoughts

hi Sister,
Another great work on your side after the walking wehrmachteer. This is one of my favorite Jaguar models and glad to see You are the one who carries it to Armorama. Very nice build and I like the paintwork too.
Affına sıgınarak :-) i will add a few ;
1.please next time drill a little hole to the barrel of this grease gun using a pin or drill ,that would look better in the second photo.
2.I like the tones of the building and ground , a darker tone (raw umber) wash can make the details more visible especially the wings of the Adler.
3. I really loved the hair color of the Russian lady, almost the same as a Natasha :-) and she needs some make up, red cheeks could look good
5. The damage on the upper wall is very good painted.
Finally, I liked everything here.the subject, the vignette, painting of figures and base is very good.
congrats sister
P.S: see how great you can build when Ilhan not helping you... LOL..
best regards to bro please

Looks great! I'm glad to see that somebody is modeling russian women.
-One thing though...The badge she is wearing, on the right side, Is that a gaurds badge? Its shaped like one and if it is...Here is what it should be painted like.

I know that there are no badges that are shaped like that and are all red. It would look really good if you painted that in.

I agree with what's said above, but overall is a nice effort, the wall painting is very fine and also the figures with some weathering touches could be great . Keep on

A great diorama, but I agree that you should wash and drybrush the woman's face and maybe the groundwork a little bit
