Hello all,
Does anyone know which aftermarket aluminum barrel would fit this king tiger? Thanks in advance!

As far as I know this kit already comes with a metal barrel... Is it so bad that needs replacement?

Maybe it is a new re-release without metal parts ? Dragon have this strange policy (the same kit without extra parts for highest price.) I have a original release and here is metal barell.

Sadly you cannot rely on the Dragon model number these days. I have two Dragon 6160 Panthers. The boxes are identical but the contents are not. One comes with separate torsion bars and the usual Dragon instructions whilst the other comes with torsion bars moulded on the hull and many other differences including an almost decent instruction sheet. Go figure.

The kit supposedly comes with a metal barrel, but not mine . I'm looking for an aluminum barrel for it. I bought Aber 35L08n, but I don't think this is the correct one for it.

You can't go far wrong with an RB models barrel. Cheaper than Aber as well.

Haha you can still go wrong if the barrel end piece is too wide for the mantlet.

Aber 35L08n is just the thing! Enlarge hole in the kit mantlet as instructions suggest and you're done. Next time when you want to buy a KT from Dragon find 6232 or 6254 on E-bay. Those two kits (should) have metal barrels for sure.

Thanks, Paul! I will do this, as 35L08n looks very nice on the kit.
