Finally finished this after more than a year of on and off effort. The GMV is the Tamiya kit using the Legend set. The figures are Masterbox. I built this for a friend of mine I've known since high school who has spent his entire Army career in SOF.
Enjoy!

Really nice work Tim.
Great paint and groundwork.
Like how you spread the figures out and didn't do a group shot like the box art.

Thanks! I figured even in such a situation, you'd have guys watching (or at least looking) in different directions from time to time.
Cheers,

A simple but effective scene. All elements used to good advantage. Nice!

Tim,
Your figures look awesome! Seens you've been able to make them look tired, yet wary.
I am impressed!

Thanks again for all the comments, guys. Figures (especially faces) are an area I will do over again if I don't like the initial result. Goofing up faces can really ruin a dio; thanks to Shep Paine for his book that includes "step by step" instructions on how to do it right!

I like it. A decent GMV is always welcomed But I don't like two small things - too clean wheels and too monotonous ground.
Could You please make a photo showing this model from the right side?

I can take a few more. Yes, the ground is monotonous--but so are parts of Afghanistan. The weathering and terrain were based on direct feedback I got from people who were riding around in GMVs, so I went with that. I can always add some more gunge, though.
Cheers,
Tim W.
