I understand from reading Vodniks article that the main gun that comes with the kit is 14mm too short. So I got the Voyager set that had the fenders and detail up parts for machine gun and the barrel. Imagine my surprize to see that gun is even shorter. Looks like by an additional 5 mm. So does anyone out there have the correct size tube? I could see a mm or 2 short not big deal but almost 2cm. I always thought Voyager was one of the good ones There is 30 bucks down the drain

I got the RB barrel for mine. All the reviews I read said that it was the correct size. Its definitely longer than the kits barrel! Im still waiting for someone to come out with a mantlet cover for the M103A1.

While I didn't use a micrometer for my barrel comparison I think my explanation is very easy to follow.

Let the buyer beware...and do your research in advance. Other than the barrel issue the Voyager set is pretty nice.

I love you mantlet cover! When I build my A2 Im doing it the same way. Im building the A1 right now and Im failing miserably at the tissue paper technique, so it will probably just go without one! I found more pictures of the A1 with out a cover then I did with one anyway!
