Ziggy,

Shanghai Dragon #6082 is Dragon #6015, as far as I know..

So perhaps this helps :

Ziggy,

From what I understand #6082 was an improved release of #6015.

Here's a discussion over at ML -- Jagdpanzer IV L70(A)

Some of the links are not working, so you may use these instead:

6015 Build
6082 Tweak List

Cheers,

Tat

I built the Shanghai Dragon version many years ago. Gun barrel lacks the proper taper, so it needs replacing. The gun housing on the glacis plate should have a larger opening, and there should be a dome-shaped inner mantlet visible when the gun is elevated.

The molded mortice joints on the hull front and sides are wrong in thickness and location, so they need to be filled and rescribed (you can do it with an X-acto knife). Refer to appropriate drawings.

The chassis in the Shanghai Dragon kit is the superior Gunze Sangyo molding, a huge improvement on the 1994 Dragon parts. Upper hull remains unchanged. You can add the usual improvements with photoetched too clips, if you wish. Tamiya's Panzer IV Tool Set has better tools, or maybe you can find one of the Dragon/CyberHobby tool sets.

Dragon has issued a couple of all-new Smart Kits depicting this variant, if you want to save yourself some work.

You can find photos online of the vehicle preserved at Saumur in France for reference.
