I just found a towing rope while metal detecting in an area where there were Soviet M3 Lee's fighting against the Germans. If anyone has a M3 Lee scale model with a towing rope could you please take a picture of it and post it? It would help alot!

This is a Sherman towing cable, but I guess the Lee one should be quite similar :

I'm no expert, but your find resembles the end of a soviet tank towing cable. Here's a 1/72nd scale Eureka XXL T-34/76 towing cable :
