OH GOODY! "DS" TRACKS!!!

I'm surprised that DRAGON hasn't re-boxed the Panzerbeobachtungswagen III (Sd.Kfz. 143) yet- We're about due for a "NEW!!!" Pz.III with a wooden "Dummy" Gun, aren't we?

OK, so DRAGON does pretty well with their re-boxed kits, especially with modellers who had "missed the boat" (or "bus"), the last time around. I just wish that they would do away with all of their "DS" Tracks, and just go ahead and re-box all of their existing kits with their new "NEO TRACKS", which are, in essence, "Link-and-Length" Tracks. Speaking from my own experience, I haven't had any problems with my DRAGON kits that feature "DS" Tracks... Yet...

On the plus side, WWII German fans have yet another DRAGON Pz.III to play with. I happen to like the Pz.III, and I have several of the earlier DRAGON, MINIART, the BRONCO Ausf.A versions and a DRAGON Ausf.L (AFRIKAKORPS, with the long 5cm Gun)in my collection. I don't see myself buying THIS kit, but I'm sure that there will be enough modellers that will buy this latest Pz.III from DRAGON, along with their recent release of the StuG.III Ausf.E. It's a GREAT time to be a WWII German fan, what with all of those new DRAGON Hetzer-based vehicles, and some lesser-known German types as well...

I miss Magic Tracks. Either you like them or not. Why not offer them seperately at least? That would be win win for everybody. OR even service the modelers in offering the option of DS or MT IN THE KIT. well. damn :/

It's another interesting way for Dragon to maximize its molds. I'd get one likely.

Just curious- What would you use in lieu of the "DS" Tracks? Any preference?

I have multiple sets of Friuls in my stash, but also like the new Master Club metal ones (when you can get them).
