Have there ever been any modern figures shown pointing an antitank missile at a target? This can be a TOW, Javelin, Kornet, whatever; nor does the nationality of the figure matter much. I can probably adapt it. Thanks!

Hisham, I think I like our Russian figure best. Anyway, this would be for a Syria diorama. Thanks guys.

BTW The weapon russian guy firing is RPO Shmel. It is not an antitank missile. It is anti-personnel and can use against light-armored vehicle, but not against tanks

This thread makes me realize we need more AT weapon offerings. How about the iconic Carl Gustov?

Verlinden makes a 1/35 Insurgent firing a RPG along with his backup.

My idea was the have an insurgent on the second story of a destroyed building, aiming a missile at a tank or some other vehicle on the street below. He will have to be aiming downward, somehow. Also, the building will have to be a shell essentially, with no wall behind the antitank man, but with some kind of stair or other means of reaching the top floor. I got the idea from "Saving Private Ryan."

Since you want him to be aiming down at the street, you might have to "kitbash" two figures.. like for example, you could use the body from the one in the first pic since he looks like he's leaning forward.. and you could use the arms and RPG from the second one... or something similar to that.
These two figures are by Masterclub, by the way.

Here is the URL to the Verlinden Insurgent RPG team since the photo isn't appearing in my previous post (and I can't edit that post anymore).

Considering your concept, I suggest you focus on AT rocket launchers and not missiles. Those are not the most suitable weapon system to be used from the top of a building down to the street underneath.
Some RPGs, whatever the model, appear to be your best choice since you want to depict rebel fighters.

I've seen a number of such dioramas over the years, usually somebody aiming a bazooka or panzerfaust out the window at an enemy tank. It always seems like a good idea for an exciting model. The trouble is, to keep the diorama of manageable size, the guy with the rocket is basically committing suicide, as he is far too close to survive the explosion. A realistic 1/35th scale antitank team and tank would require a diorama base the size of a billiard table.
I have seen successful dioramas which depict the antitank team hiding in the rubble, hoping to get a good shot after a tank has passed by. Meanwhile, the tank's supporting infantry are trying to sniff out just such hunter killer teams. It's still a tense scene, but a different kind of tension, and a bit more plausible. Just a thought...
